Come together to build connection, community and clarify your aims for 2018.
What is it?
We will open with tea and a snack to share. Followed by a group sourdough bread making, paperchain building and burning to release frustrations and patterns that you no longer want to hold on to and a fire bowl with a discussion of a Word of the Year, we will then close as the fire burns out.
What is a Word of The Year?
Inspired by my closest travelling companion, my wife, I dropped the idea of new years resolutions and leapt on a concept of a Word of The Year. This is a single word resolution. A focus. A clarifying of our desires and ideas and plans for how we would like our year to become manifest before us. Find out more on my blog page.
Prices:
I want to allow as many men as possible feel able to attend, for this reason I would ask that if you feel that you earn a low income please offer £10, if you feel you earn a moderate income, please offer £20. And if you feel you are on a high income then please offer £30. I leave the decision to you.
What comes next?
Throughout the year I will be running once monthly circle gatherings on the last Monday evening of the month.
January 29th, February 26th, March 26th, April 30th, May 28th, June 25th, July 30th, August 27th, September 24th, October 29th, November 26th, and December 17th (eccentrically, as the last two Mondays are 31st and 24th!)
What will happen throughout the year?
The format will remain loosely the same. Tea and a bite to eat, including bread from our sourdough, followed by bread making this prepares the dough for the future, crafting from the sourdough culture that we begin in our first meeting.
Following the bread making we will have activity that will provide a source of releasing negative patterns and beliefs and a discussion around how we would like to change and focus our thoughts, minds, words, actions and lives to better serve ourselves and those we love and respect.
We will close after the fire burns out.
I anticipate the evenings to be an open forum setting where all can speak freely and openly with the respect and acceptance from the rest of the group. I do not expect to have all the answers, however as a group together I hope we can come together to help each other to move forwards.
There will be no alcohol, smoking or any other drugs (With the sole exception of caffeine) during the sessions.
